Idea is Living Thing

The one inhabitant of which we are not aware of its existence and who is the reason for our survival, invention, civilization, culture, and many more life-supporting forces is IDEA. Ideas, like many creatures on this planet, are very organic and dynamic element. It invisibly floats in the air and nestles in the realm of the contemplative mind. It entertains those who crave for it and easily get hooked up with an introspective mind. It widens its size with a visionary leader, and rustles up the curious mind. It surrenders to the eye, voraciously waiting for a great solution. These are the areas where even a tiny idea gets real fertilisation and nourishment. Shakespeare and Einstein are not men of weighty degrees; their understanding of the world has been decreed; what makes them great in their field is their ability to be curious and contemplative. Curiosity opens the door to new ideas, while contemplation transforms occasionally fragmentary but promising ideas into ones that can transform entire civilizations.

However, ideas desert an unambitious and incurious person. It does not entertain lazy attention and a slack attitude. It does not see caste and class but home in the hungry mind, where it sees the scope for fertilisation and emotional nourishment. Ideas are living and organic creatures. If you are unresponsive, it will repel you but will not inform you. Instead, it will find some other mental nest to make its home in.

There is no lack of ideas. Most of us are deprived of its fruition because we don’t have the time to muster attention to capture its essence, nor do we listen to the murmur of its language. Further, the daily drama of life—anxiety, competition, narcissism, the need for hoarding, and insecurity—does not allow our mind and sight to capture the whisper of the living idea. On the other hand, creative crop like writers, leaders, and scientists understand the erratic and eerie sides of ideas. They understand that the air is brimming with ideas and can make their presence felt without making an announcement. So they keep their eyes vigilant. And what's more, ideas love to make their home in curious minds.
